Set up credit card payment (Beta)

Credit card payment via Paper.xyz

We've simplified the setup process for this feature. Previously, you needed to enable the credit card payment feature before deploying your ERC-721 contract. But now we've made it even easier! We've removed that step altogether from the 'Advanced' tab. Credit card payments are now enabled by default for ERC-721 contracts.

Credit cards are supported on ETH Mainnet, Polygon, and Optimism.

As this feature is currently in beta, it's possible to encounter some issues. To ensure a smooth experience for your users, we recommend thoroughly testing the feature on a testnet like Goerli before launching your collection on mainnet. It's always better to be prepared!

Once your contract is deployed, it's time to verify your identity on the "Minting" page to enable the credit card feature. Follow these simple steps:

1. Go to "Minting" page and click on "Customize page"

To enable credit card payments, complete the KYC process with Paper.xyz by simply clicking on the button in the Mint Page settings. Once you've submitted your documents, the paper.xyz team will work their magic within 48 hours to verify them. Remember to set it up at least 2 days before your minting date to allow for the verification process.

The best part? The waiting period is only for your first mint page. After that, you can enable credit card payments right away on future mint pages for the same collection or new collections without going through KYC again. To be on the safe side, consider enabling it on a testnet page first to get the hang of things.

Verify Identity on Paper.xyz

1. Verify your identity: Start by entering your email address then click on the submit button.

2. Paper.xyz will send a verification code to your email address for added security. Enter the code once received.

3. Choose your business type: Select the appropriate option that best represents your business type.

4. Enter seller information: Provide the necessary information as a business and an individual.

5. Scan your ID and take a selfie: You'll be prompted to scan the front and back of your ID, as well as take a selfie. If you prefer, you can also use your mobile device by scanning the code provided.

6. Once you've completed the identity verification process, return to HeyMint Launchpad. You'll notice that your identity is now verified. Exciting! Click on the "Enable credit card payments" button to activate the feature.

Please note that there is a 48-hour waiting period after signing up to process credit card payments so please come back and click "Enable credit card payments" after 48 hours when deploying on mainnet.

Now you can see that you are verified and credit card payments are enabled.

7. You can now click on the “Preview & Publish” button and continue to “Publish” your mint page.

8. Click on “Back to customize” and then click on the “view live page” to see your mint page.

9. Please keep in mind that this credit card payment feature currently supports only public sale minting. So, when you're ready to kick off the sale, navigate to the "Sale" section under Contract Management and click on "Start the sale" for Public Sale to open your mint. Until you do that, your mint page will remain closed and collectors won't be able to mint.

10. Once the public sale is active, your collectors will be able to find the option to "Mint with credit card" once they click the "Mint now" button on the mint page. It's a seamless and convenient way for them to grab their favorite NFTs from your collection. Happy minting!

Collectors that minted their NFTs using an email address can easily find it in their wallet at paper.xyz. After completing the minting process, the mint page will also provide a direct link for collectors to access their NFTs in their wallet.
